Our workshop started in the garage of our house in Tegelen,
Netherlands. Actually, it still is in the same place. In 2004 we improved the
set-up. Windows in the roof and walls were installed to allow light to enter.
Water and power were added.
One of the wheels is now placed such that you can overview the
garden while working (not working actually).
Isolation and a heater were put in place so that even in winter
we can work there. And more important we can now store all wet materials and
keeping them from freezing in the scarce days that temperatures drop below zero
over here.
All in all we turned the place into a 20 m2 comfortable workshop
where we love to be. With the arrival of the 180 propane kiln an separate kiln
house was build, making even more space in the shop. It makes a difference in
firing as well: no toxic or just stinking air circulating in the workshop any
more.
